Scialabba Announces $2 Million in Funding for Critical Infrastructure in Evans City

April 23, 2025

HARRISBURG – Rep. Stephenie Scialabba (R-Butler) today announced $2 million in funding from the Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority for replacement of the Evans City Water and Sewer Authority’s Callery Pump Station.

“Supporting vital upgrades and maintenance toward the community’s infrastructure is essential to the well-being of this region,” said Scialabba. “This funding will help ensure local residents continue to receive requisite and reliable services from the authority.”

The funding will be used for a new, relocated pump station that will include a wet well, two submersible pumps, a control panel, an emergency generator, and one valve and metering vault. An extension and replacement of approximately 500 feet of gravity sewer and force main is also included in the project to tie-in the new pump station to existing infrastructure.

Scialabba advocated for this funding for the authority.
